Introduction

At PhotoPerfectAI, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it secure when you use our mobile application (“the App”). PhotoPerfectAI is designed with privacy-first principles and minimizes data collection and storage.

1. Information We Don't Collect

PhotoPerfectAI does not collect or store any of the following information:

  • Personal information such as your name, email address, or location
  • Biometric data, including facial recognition data, facial landmarks, or any identifiers derived from faces
  • Your image files or their contents
  • Device identifiers, usage analytics, or behavioral data
  • Cookies or similar tracking technologies

The app functions fully without requiring an account or any personal identifiers.

2. Image Access

All image access (loading, saving, and local edits) is performed entirely on your device. Your images remain on your device unless you choose to use the AI editing feature described below.

3. Image Editing Features

When you use the AI editing feature, the app sends the selected image and your text prompt to Google Gemini’s API (model Flash 2.5) for processing:

  • The image is transmitted securely via HTTPS.
  • The image may contain a face; however, no face detection, recognition, or analysis occurs within PhotoPerfectAI.
  • The image is treated as generic visual content and is used only to generate the requested edit.
  • No images or data are stored or retained by PhotoPerfectAI after the edit is completed.

Google processes the data as a third-party provider in accordance with their Google AI Privacy Policy and does not use these images for model training or personalization.

4. Face Data

PhotoPerfectAI does not collect, analyze, or store any biometric identifiers or facial recognition data. If a user’s image includes a face, it is transmitted and processed as a regular image file to perform the user’s requested edit. No facial landmarks, templates, or measurements are extracted or used. PhotoPerfectAI does not perform any form of facial analysis, identification, or classification.

5. Data Retention

PhotoPerfectAI does not retain any images, prompts, or face data. All image data sent to Google Gemini’s API is transient and used solely for generating the requested edit. After processing is complete, no copies are stored by PhotoPerfectAI. Retention, if any, on Google’s servers is governed by their API data handling practices.

6. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used is Google Gemini API for image editing. PhotoPerfectAI does not share data with advertisers, analytics services, or any other third parties

7. Responsible Use & User-Generated Content

Users are solely responsible for the content they create, modify, or share using PhotoPerfectAI. The app is intended for lawful and ethical image generation and enhancement. You may not use the app to generate, alter, or distribute images that depict real individuals without their consent, or that are defamatory, harassing, invasive of privacy, misleading, or otherwise harmful. PhotoPerfectAI, its developers, and affiliates disclaim all responsibility and liability for any images or outputs created by users. By using the app, you acknowledge and agree that any misuse of the image generation features is entirely your own responsibility, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless PhotoPerfectAI and its affiliates from any claims arising out of such misuse.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect data during transmission using secure HTTPS connections. Since we do not store user data, there is no server-side retention or long-term storage of your information.

9. Children's Privacy

PhotoPerfectAI is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information under or above this age.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date above and posting the revised version within the app and on our website.
